After spending five years being a ‘traditional’ fashion and lifestyle blogger, I came to the realisation that I wanted to write more meaningful articles that would inspire and perhaps give a little food for thought.

I’ve never felt truly comfortable with making a big deal out of my image, as I believe there is so much more to life than the way we look.

In my short time on this earth, I’ve experienced many ups and downs, both personally, and through watching my friends and family deal with life-changing traumas. And it has given me a great perspective on how I want to live my life, and inevitably now plays a big role in the decisions I make. Many have often told me that I’m wiser than my years, which I’ve often interpreted as being not much fun and too responsible. But after a few gins, I think that quickly changes!

Whether you want to know how to handle that difficult relationship or bring about more wellbeing, I hope that by sharing my personal experiences in life, it will give you some hope that you’re not alone in this crazy world we live in.

It’s not often we open up and discuss real-life issues; the one’s which sometimes we feel too shy to say out loud. This is a place I hope will warm your soul on a dreary day or give you that helping hand through the rollercoaster of life.

After all, it’s true what they say; Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary adventure.

How to Beat the Worry Gremlins

How to Beat the Worry Gremlins

Worrying, it seems we all do it. My mother is a professional worrier; she worries when there isn’t even anything to worry about. But the fact of the matter is, it can reach a point where it becomes crippling anxiety and stops you from doing the things you enjoy or wish to do.

Where’s the Bullshit Button When You Need One?

Where’s the Bullshit Button When You Need One?

I like to think I live my life in a pretty authentic manner. I don’t pretend to be anyone else; I don’t pretend to like things just because their ‘on trend’, and I don’t surround myself with people who I wouldn’t jump in front of a bus for.

Cancel the Pity Party – It’s Time for a Pep Talk

If something dramatic has happened in your life it’s very easy to become a negative nancy and start a pity party for one.
